As I mentioned in my last post I’ve been this weekend at a traditional polish wedding in zakopane. It was my first time that I’ve been to zakopane since I only knew krakow very well. I was impressed by the difference of the two cities and loved to get to know the natural side of poland.
We didn’t have much time for sightseeing but what I can say is that the foods on the street called “Krupówki” where delicious and amazing. We went for a morning walk there before we prepared ourselves for the wedding and decided to take pics of the outfit and the beautiful town. The buildings reminded me of a myth village, everything wooden and rustic. Nature, Trees Flowers and the mountains are all around you and gives Zakopane it’s own flair.
Zakopane And My Debut As a Wedding Guest
The last week has been very busy for me and I didn’t have much time to shop the right dress for the wedding in Zakopane. I’m so happy that I found this georgeous maxi dress by Blue Life and I ordered it online at Shopbop. I was glad about the quick delivery and so I got the dress right on time. The maxi dress was perfect for the hot weather and especially if you have to stand a lot, like for a wedding ceremony, it’s the best solution. I wanted to go for a low-backed dress and I was affected by the cleavage on the front. Although I like to wear complete nude looks I wanted to do some color blocking by using red nail polish and kind of a “vamp” make-up.

The hairstyle ended up different than the one that I was planning for the day. As I mentioned in my beautypost last Friday, the bouffant would have been perfect for this outfit. I forgot part of my hairstyling products in Vienna and so I had to be creative and spontaneous. I ended up doing a fishtail side braid and it fit my dress very well.
Back again, tired from the long ride- How was your weekend? Getting nervous about my wedding and lots of thoughts are still going through my head- 26 days to go!
