We all know those days very well, when we’re not in the mood for anything, especially when it comes to Mondays. I can tell you a thing or two about it.

Sometimes we need those special things in life that cheer us up when we have bad days. “Shit happens” and it’s part of our daily life to have some bad days too. Whenever I come home after I had a bad day I stick to my rescue methods that always get me in the right mood. Here’s my very own list on what to do if you have a bad day.

What To Do If You Have a Bad Day

  1. Hot Chocolate for Those Special Days

Girls you all know what I’m talking about. When it comes to those days, when we start questioning our body figure and have cravings all the time there’s only one solution for that. Although I’m living a healthy lifestyle I have my sugar craving moment too. And honestly nothings better than a huge cup of hot chocolate with almonds on top! Sometimes we all need a break and I think it’s totally okay if you cheat from time to time.

  2. Dancing With Yourself

Jep, true story. Sometimes when I’m in a stress situation like I can’t stick to my schedule or tick off the points on my to-do list I’ll just start dancing in my living room. Turn on some music – Actually I’m totally into “All about that bass” by Meghan Trainor! – and just shake it off whatever you need to get rid off! FYI: Make sure you’re alone at home :D

  3. Turn Off Your Phone…

and take a break  – No Instagram or Facebook at all!

  4. Hang Out With Your Pet!

Go for a walk with your dog or have a break and cuddle your pet. When I feel fed up from a long and stressful day, Grace is always there to cheer me up.

  5. It’s All About That Bubbles

Have a bubble bath and relax. I like to have one with one of those bath balls from LUSH while listening to a showering playlist on Spotify. Avocado is my absolute favourite especially after a long day on my feet.

  6.  Workout

Take a walk or exercise: Doing my workouts regularly helped me to become a more stress resistant person. I couldn’t imagine my life now without any sports. When having a bad day it helps me to calm down and to sweat off all that stress.

  7. Write, Write…

whatever is on your mind. For me my blog is the best thing to write down all the things that keep going through my head all the time. I keep focusing on the creative part in my life which makes fashion and beauty the biggest things. Whenever I have new ideas that I come up with I try to bring them to life when writing and creating my posts for the blog. If you don’t own a blog, it doesn’t matter. Get yourself a notebook and write down your thoughts to get rid off your burden.

  8. Make a Call

Having a small chat with friends of family often helps us to forget bad days. They remind us of the things that are important of life whether it’s fun, joy or love.

  9. Childhood Days

Watch a Disney movie for real! In everyone of us there’s still a child and being childish sometimes helps us to forget our responsibility that we have to have in our daily lives. My favourite movie is definitely Pocahontas. Don’t ask me why, it’s maybe because I’m a huge fan of Pocahontas amazing hair :P

  10. Just Smile…

Even when it’s the hardest thing to do atm. It has a biological effect on our brain and helps us to release endorphins and seratinins to reduce stress. It’s good for your body but more for you ;)

Although it’s Monday guys I hope I could give you some useful tips on what to do if you have a bad day. Always remember it’s never to late to turn a bad day into a good one.
