One week after the wedding and I still can’t realize it. I got happily married to the man that I’ve been sharing every moment with in my life for so long and I never expected myself to be his wife one day. Our wedding day wouldn’t have been that amazing without the help from our families and friends. I guess you all were waiting for the pictures and I’m glad to tell that today’s post will contain a lot of them.

Wedding Altar DIY

img-asiah-140906-134459 img-asiah-140906-113853The reason why we’ve been to cracow four days before was because of our „DIY-Project“ with the vintage doors that we decided to use as altar for our wedding ceremony. These doors might look really old at first sight and I can say for sure that they are really unique. The doors were part of the old Sofiensäle and since the building got renovated we wanted to keep the doors and didn’t want them to be thrown away. With a little help from my man and some painting we gave them a shabby chic look.DSC_6839

Lavender, Purple Love

I love cheese and he loves wine- That’s how we decided for the provence theme for the wedding. I love the smell of lavender and especially the decoration, which is simple and playful in it’s way. Little cages hanging from trees and bouquets in soft and pastel colors, lots of little details that shouldn’t be missing. We are both provence lovers and can’t wait to get there for our second honeymoon trip.

Polaroid Games for the Guests

What would a wedding look like with only one DIY from the bride and groom? Since my husband and I are totally into extraordinary decoratings and ways of photographing we brought a few polaroids with us. Everyone has this normal and very boring group photos of their wedding hanging in their living room but what’s missing most is the fun and smiling faces. The guests enjoyed our funny idea and the results were just great!img-asiah-140906-170721

#bellakris –Because we are cool…

Okay it might sound weird but since I’m part of the hashtagging world now I wanted to use a #bellakris hashtag for our wedding. My thoughts were especially on collecting the pics from them guests and since there are so many ways to make collages of your instagram pics, I wanted to do so.img-asiah-140906-155621

Wifey thoughts…

img-asiah-140906-120740„Wifey“ sounds so strange to me and I’m still in that „I am his girlfriend“ world. I think it really takes some time until I realise it myself. The most important thing: I’m happy and excited about all the things in life that will come.

A special “thank you” to our wedding photographer Joanna Nowak for shooting these wonderful pictures. If you’re curious about the look of my wedding dress – relax and wait for the next post!

I have to admit that I never used to be the big news reader back in Austria. I soaked up the information from the TV news or the underground papers that are less useful than TP. However, things changed as soon as I got accepted into college and even more after I moved.
