Last Sunday I had a blast with one of the most stunning views over Vienna. A tasty lunch at Sofitel, which was my husband’s birthday present he got a few month ago and so we decided to redeem it last weekend.

Vouchers and presents that include dinners or lunch are best. Me and Mr. Right aka husband, we’re both into any kind of food and love to try out new restaurants and hot spots from time to time. Our lunch at Sofitel was a unforgettable culinary experience with an breathtaking 360 degree view over the city. The greatest eye catcher is the astonishing colourful ceiling designed by swiss video artist Pipilotti Rist. It lights up the entire floor due to an extraordinary LED lightening technique and builds a contrast to the quite minimalistic and chromatic interior design. Impressed by the colours and admired by the unique ceiling art I couldn’t deny to enjoy a glass of champagne at 1 pm. Basically around this time I wouldn’t opt for a drink but due to this exceptional occasion I couldn’t deny ;)  Since it’s been rainy the last few days I was a bit confused on what to wear that day. I went for a mix of casual and chic, as I believe it’s nothing to go wrong about it. Although the weather was sunny I had my doubts about the wind – yep it was quite chilly and I was really happy to have my beloved cashmere jumper with me. Shooting outside wasn’t really an option, which is why we decided to weave in the area around the ground floor, including the lobby and bar.

Considering my promises on keeping you guys up to date, I can tell you that I’ve finally made it to the end of my to-do list. I started already packing, but there’s still some main pieces missing, which I’m going to shop today. 2 days left and my move feels still surreal to me.

I hope you guys enjoy your weekend!
