New year is around the corner and I’m all wrapped up in my pajamas wearing the coziest sweaters to keep myself warm all day. I still can’t believe it- it’s snowing since two days.
Even though we have sub-zero temperatures in Vienna, I’m happy for the first great snow after years. My husband is going to take me out for dinner on new years eve and I’m already very excited about it. Although I said I will post less on the blog during the holidays I couldn’t deny sharing my New Years Eve Look with you.
A Kiss You Shouldn’t Miss!
Every New Years Celebration needs a perfect kiss. For my New Years Look I love to wear bold lip colours and there’s no day in the year you won’t see me without a great shade on my lips. I kept my eye makeup quite simple and went for eyeliner and volume lashes. The pink shade is just perfect if you want to add a fresh and trendy touch to your makeup. Before you’re going to ask if strong eyes and a bold lip work together I’m afraid to say yes and no. I experienced it myself and the results where often cluttered and unwieldy.

Starting The New Year Clean and Simple
This years look is going to be very minimalistic and simple. Last years celebration was quite stressful because it took me hours to get ready. As you already know I got my one and only favourite rule for this year-„Less is more“ always wins! I decided for the black velvet pleather detailed midi dress that I got on ASOS.com a year ago and didn’t wear until today. It takes some time to put it on because of it’s tight fitting but it’s definitely worth it. The poncho is the highlight of todays look as it’s the second piece that made it’s first appearance on the blog. Yay! I got it during my south france holiday in Avignon and it’s the piece I wore the most this fall. It keeps me warm and I’m definitely going to take it with me for dinner tomorrow ;) Although it’s quite early – I wish you all a happy new year!
