Can’t believe it’s almost spring and the beautiful sunny weather is finally back. I’m glad to feel the sun on my skin again, the warmth let’s me forget everything for one moment. I think sometimes it’s good to turn off the buttons for a while, to enjoy quality time with friends and family. I’ve been through a lot of stress the last two months and little me-time was highly needed. Now that I’ve almost fought the flu, I’m happy to be back with more energy and creative content than ever.
The flu and especially the bed-time had it’s benefits. I got enough time to read through the stack of fashion magazines that was almost unsteady and that I haven’t thought about for a while. On the search for some fashion inspiration I stumbled upon the so-called spring’s season colour navy blue. I don’t know why, but when I see the colour I’ve always one picture going through my head – Blond platin hair, long- bob haircut, a classic red lip and an adorable smile. Sounds like the 50s right? Most of these things are part of todays look, expect the platin blond ;)
About The Navy Blue Trench Coat
Finding the perfect between-seasons jacket is never easy but I didn’t expect to make such a lucky find with this one. The trenchcoat is light in weight and comes in a thin material which is a polyester-nylon mix. The navy blue trench coat is definitely my favourite piece of the month and I love the casual touch it adds to this look.
I’ve always had my doubts about brogues or any similar version, especially when I think of me wearing them. I really like to see the boyish shoes on other people – they can add something feminine on one side and on the other they can be a statement piece in a boyish look. However, I gave it a shot and I’m happy I did, as I really enjoy wearing them.
