If there’s a way to describe London Fashion Weekend in a word itĀ would be sensational. I got aĀ ticket for the Saturday afternoon Designer Catwalk show to House of Holland and IĀ was already curious about the SS 16 pieces.

When the lights went on and the music started playing, people already had their cameras ready expecting the girls to show up on the runway in less than a minute. I was not one of the lucky girls in the frow, asĀ they were sold out quite quick. However with extended arms and some stand ups Ā I managed to sneak a peek on the runway.

House of Holland was a new brand to me and the reason why I went there was not only because of the designs but also because of the creator Henry Holland (who basically hadĀ studied Fashion Journalism but becameĀ enamoured of Fashion Design over the years).
Furs and colours, both together in strong combination, and stompy beats haveĀ filled the room. House of Holland’s pieces wereĀ all about checkered patterns andĀ corset-tight ridged rubber skirts – one of the garments that I foundĀ very sexy! The models looked bold and dominant (similar toĀ Olivier RousteingĀ vision of a woman) with their sunglasses on. The show was all in all a successful event – I loved every second of it!
