It’s my favourite time of the year – festival time! Only one week left until the Donauinselfestival kicks it off in Vienna. It’s one of our well known summer events and takes part every year around June.
It’s been a while since I’ve been to the concerts of the Donauinselfestival, not because I didn’t enjoy the music but more because I moved to the other end of the town. I grew up in the 20th district, which is just a quick walk over the bridge to get to the Donauinsel -sometimes I could even hear the musicians from my room at home! Concert for free yay :D Nothing beats the athmosphere at concerts – the mud, the shoes that are hopefully the best you have and the cold ice drink. I like to look back on past times and especially the times when there was so much time to do all the stuff I enjoyed. Lets say todays look is more like a revival and a way of how I would dress myself nowadays when going to festivals.
The Girl With The Guess Overall
What I wore back then? I used to call it the “IDGAF style”. All I did was grabbing a random tee, putting on my fave denim hot pants and my eldest pair of chucks that were completely covered in mud. It was all about partying with friends and having a good time. No one really thought about fashion pieces or OOTDs. So what would I wear today? You wouldn’t only recognise me by my tremendous height – I’m more than 5 feet and 10 inches – but also by my light blue Guess overall and a black hat.

It’s great to watch how some things change over years and how much still remains in us. Something that never ripped apart is my love for music. I couldn’t imagine a day without music in my life – How about you? Grab your friends and best shoes and go stand in the crowd.
