The killer smokey eye is basically black. It’s the sexiest colour ever, dark and tempting and suits every women. But what to do when summers season’s just ahead of us?
A Splash of Cobalt Blue
Black might be to harsh in such a colourful season and the whole look is going to turn out more grungy than sexy. There are no strict rules out there, telling us what’s a Do or Don’t for this years summer season, but there are some great suggestions that we should try at least once.
Cobalt Blue is the go-to signature colour and with it’s perfect mix of grey and blue it creates a smooth and soft summer smokey eye. Follow along:
Products I used:
MAC Paint Pot-Chrome Angel
Berry M – Shape & Define Brow Kit
MAC Bronzing Powder – Soft Sand
Benefit – They’re Real Mascara
Lush Liquid Liner – Unabhängig
Artdeco 83
Inglot Eyeshadows 483,13
Inglot Precision Lipliner 67
Labello Olive Lip Balm
First of all I started with my base colour MAC Paint Pot and applied it all over my lid. Secondly, the darkest Inglot eyeshadow comes in: The Nr. 483 is one of my favourite blue shades when it comes to smokey eyes. I use on the outer lid and softly blend it in into my crease. The spot colour is a sparkling cobalt blue by Artdeco Nr. 83, and adds glow and fresh kick to the eye makeup. I also applied a small amount of the Eyeshadow Nr. 13. to highlight my inner lid. Although black is something we should avoid for summers season, I couldn’t deny to use my fave liquid liner “Unabhängig” by Lush to finish off this pretty look. For my lips I went for a rose-nude colour by Inglot Nr. 67 – it’s just a lipliner combined with a classic lipbalm aka Labello. Don’t forget your mascara girls and to fill in your brows to make the last finishing touches.
In case you’re still a bit unsure on how to receive this look, tomorrow I’ll be uploading the step-by-step tutorial on my YouTube channel ;) Don’t forget to watch it!
Have a lovely humpday girls!
